The Score: 2026 Australian Open Tournament Film - Documentary
I once again had the pleasure of grading the 2026 Australian Open Official Film. This year, we really wanted to push the colour grade, letting it be vibrant and electrifying, leaning into the energy that defines the Happy Slam. Flashbacks throughout the film featured stylised Super 8 film emulation, helping separate those moments from the present.
During the tournament, I was also fortunate enough to be the Day Edit Suite Producer, working with a remarkable team of editors, field producers, QC operators, sound mixers and motion graphics artists. Together, the team smashed it and delivered a huge volume of high quality content to broadcasters, streaming services, sponsors, social media and other platforms.
The AO26 tournament film is now streaming on YouTube, Stan Sport and the Nine Network. Definitely worth a watch!

My time at Ghost Pictures has been such an amazing experience, working as an Assistant Editor on the upcoming Crowded House documentary. What began as a 12-week placement through Screen Australia’s Skills Development Initiative became an unforgettable six months.
I’m so grateful to @taylermmartin , Lynn-Maree, Richard and Andrew (and of course Strudel) for their generosity, knowledge and kindness. It was also wonderful reuniting with the amazing @gingerwoolley.mp4
During my time, I helped:
• Log and organise 75TB+ of footage across multiple formats, creating a searchable metadata system for editorial.
• Digitise legacy tape formats and back up material to LTO for long-term preservation.
• Manage colour pipelines for archival and contemporary material to ensure visual cohesion.
• Colour correct and grade a range of footage.
• Sync Crowded House’s performances using multicam workflows, even lip-reading to match silent Super 8 film to their early music.
• Data-wrangle media with ShotPut Pro using XXHash-64 verification.
• Upscale archival footage with Topaz Video AI for screening standards.
• Streamline post workflows and archival management.
• Operate cinema cameras to record concerts and soundchecks.
It’s been such a privilege to work on this film and learn from an incredible team, I can’t wait to return in 2026!
