I finally have a rare day off, time to reflect on what a dream this was. I was about fifteen when I auditioned at the YAPA at GGS (unsuccessfully... but receiving plenty of positivity and encouragement from the panel). I've always thought this was the coolest place on the planet, and it really is. To come back a decade and a half later, as music director of a pair of operatic masterpieces, was an honour beyond words. Best singers, best orchestra, best crew, best team ever.
