We just finished a crazy week of filming at the Glenn Gould School. Two operas directed by the awesome @amandasmithfawn with scenery by @atreusch and projections by @potatocakes_digital
There was lots of change in this production. We had to introduce plexiglass barriers to enclose the singers, and we changed venues just a couple weeks before load-in.
I got to use the @rosco_labs RoscoLED tape inside of the beautiful Tyvek lightboxes that Anna designed and it created a wonderful effect in conjunction with the front projections. The Rosco LED tape was great and had fantastic colours and smooth low end dimming. It was also super easy to install, thanks to @zev_sho for all your help!

It felt really good to be back in a theatre with the amazing @itsalyssamartin this week. The process was totally different from anything I had ever done before. I think we were able to create some amazing work for the camera and I am excited to share it with everyone.

As a lighting designer for live performances and events, my industry has been shut down since March. Tonight buildings across Canada will be lit up in red to raise awareness for our industry, which is mostly composed of self employed individuals. We were some of the first few to stop working and we will be some of the last few to return. www.lightuplive.ca
