The Sea Otter Classic is THE festival for the cycling community held at Laguna Seca Raceway here in Monterey County. It is four full days of racing, product launches, demos and community. It was a blast to be out there today as a spectator to all the action!

It was so fun to be at Stanford for opening weekend of their new courts! They are perfect for college tennis and if we lived closer I would be there all the time. The tennis is also elite - I know the Majors and Masters events are having a moment, but don’t sleep on the college level 🎾

One day I will make it to the Indian Wells tennis tournament that starts this week - it is a favorite among tennis fans here in California! Nice weather (ok, maybe a little chilly at night), but an intimate venue where you really get to see some of the top players up close. Definitely one that’s on my list!

I’m still thinking about the Super Bowl Halftime Show and the celebration of Puerto Rican culture. I can’t recall another halftime performance where I learned so much! Despite having been to Puerto Rico twice, I hope I have the opportunity to go back!

Monterey Bay Half Marathon 👟 - I love the two weekends a year when the running community converges on the Monterey Peninsula. It is always a highlight to be one of their volunteer photographers. It is such an accomplishment for all the runners - everyone has a story about what it takes to get to the finish line.
As I was going through the photos, I decided to try something different - highlight the women 💪🏼 and go all B&W 🖤🤍🖤 The little one’s sign and face at the end just made me 😂

USGA Women’s Mid-Am Championship - I had the opportunity to volunteer at the tournament this past week as a walking scorer. Going into the tournament, I didn’t know a lot about it (my dad just kept forwarding the emails saying they needed more volunteers!). But, meeting the players, learning about their golf journeys and their passion for the sport was incredible! I saw my first eagle on a par 5 and scored a round for one of the two finalists.
And, congratulations to @kimozi22 (photos 1 & 5) for winning it on the 23rd hole! (longest match in the championship’s history!)
Next year, they are at Montclair Golf Club in West Orange, NJ
