paris fashion week - spring summer 2026 collection - ‘hand in hand’
the healer: light as breath, formed in soft white pleats that coil around the body like smoke from sacred ash.
a sculpted silhouette that feels both armor and offering - tracing the memory of touch, of hands that mend and bless.
movement becomes ritual; purity becomes power.

structure and quiet movement
a silhouette cut from rich earthy brown cotton with a soft matte finish, designed to hold structure while allowing quiet movement.
An image by @shelleymokoena from the Black Light collection is included in Fashion_The Image, an exhibition that brings together archival material, new commissions and previously unseen work from some of the most influential photographers and designers shaping African fashion today. Presented by Inside Out Foundation and is hosted at the Roger Ballen Centre for Photography alongside the Inside Out Centre for the Arts.
On view in Johannesburg from 28 February to 30 May. The show reframes fashion imagery as powerful cultural storytelling and we’re honoured to have Shelley’s work in that conversation.
Curated by Sharon Armstrong and Aspasia Karras in collaboration with Dr Erica de Green and Ayabukwa Magocoba
