[FOTE 2026 LONG ESSAY AHEAD]
Ever since starting on dance journey as a young kid, I’ve had several experiences of dancing on big theatres and stages—school-held musicals, SEA Games—and even performing solo on certain events (check last few pictures), though never in my life did I experience seeing events in the lens of a production staff, till last Saturday.
I’m glad I wasn’t alone in this journey. Special shoutout to my gurlies, Yelli

@emmancipated_ for the effort and passion they’ve put into helping with managing the stage and stage ground operations. Kung alam niyo lang yung malalang sakit sa paa and likod we endured after the whole concert was over (plus the panic when we realized we might’ve lost a microphone).
I’d also want to extend my genuine appreciation to our coaches, Coach
@renzvgarcia @clarzpnta @anjorafaelamoroso @iampatc ,for assisting and trusting us on what to expect and do as stage directors and stage grounds personnel. Eme eme lang kami not having a clue on what to do if wala sila :,)

@marcdevonnn , for giving us the opportunity to realize that we can do more, and believing and trusting in us that we could pull off such a *really* big responsibility. We owe it everything to you and we’ll forever be grateful for the passion and care you’ve shown for your students and your craft.
Would I do it again? Yes. Would I also want to experience dancing in big theatres and stages again? Also yes. I can’t wait for what FOTE 2027 will show us. Congratulations to all of us! 🤩

![[INCOMING BODY PROGRESS SELF-REFLECTION (?)]Whenever I have those insecurities where I feel my current body shape (1st pic) is not enough, I always look back to when I just started working out (4th pic).I do have to say that my profession as a Dietitian does play a huge role in knowing the right nutrition and approach to having a body I have now, all while being not too restrictive of what I eat; and still enjoying what I eat.The challenge that I faced, and still face, is my mindset and my fixed definition of consistency. Mindset being that I can do more, that I should also honor rest, that I should not compare myself to other people’s progress.Changing my definition of consistency helped me feel more at ease and less insecure about my progress. I had to restructure my mindset that I didn’t have to always put in 100% when I’m at the gym. The fact that I get to move in of itself, and that even small workouts on days I feel… discouraged and unmotivated; that alone is consistency to me.I could say that malayo pa mararating ko sa body goals ko, but I could ALSO say thay malayo na rin pala narating ko.
