This was one of my first few clients who availed for 6 months; *a lot* has happened since then.
From seeing visible progress to having periods to plateau and even backtracking from our progress. He didn't give up, and we took it slow for any setbacks we've experienced.
We may not have fully achieved the lean mass and body fat% that we aimed for at the end of the session, but we achieved something better that would set him up well EVEN AFTER the coaching session ended (read post!)
Sometimes, coaching doesn't always go the way we expect at first, but what we can expect is the new knowledge, skills, and mindsets we've established that will help us be more independent of what we want to achieve—something more substantial, sustainable, and surprising to say the least (that we thought we couldn't do it at first). 🤗
Super proud of him for coming this far, and even without my guidance anymore, I know he can achieve greater things in life 🥹
If you're looking for results but also something substantial even after the coaching sessions, this (me) is your sign <3 😍

My first client, Benny A., availed my coaching services for a month. I remember seeing him conflicted with nutrition info he saw online regarding bulking/cutting. He asked for my guidance and I’m happy to announce that after our sessions together, he has the right mindset and approach towards his body goals—nutritionally/dietary-ly speaking 🥹
If you want someone who’s not only a coach, but also someone to be a supportive friend, guide you, and be accountable with you for your goals, I’m your guy 🤗🥰
Congrats to bestie Benny! I’m glad to be a part of your goals and I’m looking forward to witnessing you achieve it! 😄

Thank you so mu— for the trust bestie 🥺
My 2nd client, Cedie, came in with a mindset of wanting to consume more veggies and have a better diet, but also being able to lose weight as a gym gurlie 💅🏽💪🏽
I’m glad that our 4-months of working together, we were able to achieve both; from being able to eat more veggies and to lose weight along the way—that was a big motivation for him to continue 🥹
If you need someone that motivates you to carry on, this is your sign, and I’m the sign (awuw??) 🫣

[INCOMING BODY PROGRESS SELF-REFLECTION (?)]
Whenever I have those insecurities where I feel my current body shape (1st pic) is not enough, I always look back to when I just started working out (4th pic).
I do have to say that my profession as a Dietitian does play a huge role in knowing the right nutrition and approach to having a body I have now, all while being not too restrictive of what I eat; and still enjoying what I eat.
The challenge that I faced, and still face, is my mindset and my fixed definition of consistency. Mindset being that I can do more, that I should also honor rest, that I should not compare myself to other people’s progress.
Changing my definition of consistency helped me feel more at ease and less insecure about my progress. I had to restructure my mindset that I didn’t have to always put in 100% when I’m at the gym. The fact that I get to move in of itself, and that even small workouts on days I feel… discouraged and unmotivated; that alone is consistency to me.
I could say that malayo pa mararating ko sa body goals ko, but I could ALSO say thay malayo na rin pala narating ko. And I can’t wait for the next several months or years where I’ll be in a better position (in terms of body goals) than from where I am now.
And I want to thank my home branch @anytimefitnessmaginhawa for holding space for its members regardless of life background, and facilitating a welcoming ambience for me to improve on myself every single da, since late 2023 🥺
Yun lng hehehe mwah mwah sainyo lahatttt 😘😘
Gora sa mga papatol sa “controversial” takes from a Dietitian 👀 emeee
The final verdict? A diet that is personalized, tailored-fit, and that works for you is the way to go, bestie. Don’t let online media influence what you should eat, instead consult a dietitian near you; who will provide safe and evidence-based nutrition approach 🥰

You might see some gurlies saying about taking zinc supplement for the coomies, why is that? Simple:
Zinc (and Magnesium) play a huge role in sex hormone production (aka testosterone) which help in sperm production; they also have a direct role in spermatogenesis (aka make sperm for the cooms) and sperm quality.
On average, (Filipino) adult men need at least 6.5mg/day of Zinc and 240mg/day of magnesium. While supplements can help achieve that, common food sources actually have good sources of zinc like:
- Meat and Poultry
- Eggs
- Some dairy products
- Oatmeal
- Nuts (eg peanuts) and Lentils
- Tofu
- Fish (eg Salmon) and Shellfish (eg Oyster)
Now you know (;
Happy cooming! 💦💦💦

It’s the start of the new year— the period of resolutions and having that burst of motivation to start on things you’ve been wanting to do or been doing for the past years but eventually stop…
…only to do the same mistake in 2025 (it’s okay because same gurl) 😩
I hope this post will give you a detailed insight on making better nutrition goals that are not only doable, but also will yield outcomes that will last for a lifetime (in a good way) 🤗✨
What’s a New Year’s nutrition/food/diet resolution you have? Let’s discuss and work it out together 👀 (link on b1o!)

2024, for me at least, was about creating and holding spaces for my own well-being.
Be it being on the same space with like-minded people, space for passions, and even a space for myself. I realized how such spaces are important if I want to progress and see the world in the lens of someone my future self will appreciate me for.
That’s why one of my New Year’s Resolution is to hold more of such spaces (that I believe would help you too!)
What are you going to hold space for this coming 2025?
Happy New Year to my baddies 😍🤗🥵

Have you been told to lose some meat or gain it? But you're having challenges achieving it?
Let this post explain why simply saying to lose or gain weight is easier said than done.
Weight management is multifactorial, and everything we experience in our daily lives has an impact.
So next time, let us all be kinder to everyone, and even ourselves, when we think about someone else's weight journey. Okie? Labyu pre :*

One of the ways to stop the food fear-mongering shenanigans as with ‘diet culture’ online is to not demonize food just because we don’t like them.
It’s normal to have food dislikes and it could be due to several factors. We, RNDs, actually value them because it’s crucial info we need when we want to provide personalized nutrition care for our clients; and we, too, have food dislikes ((:
So, let’s be kinder yes? :3
