Objects spotted during Milan Design Week 2026.
A selection shaped by material research, atmosphere and restraint.
From sculptural lighting to industrial gestures.
Pieces that blur the line between object and installation.
Not made to fill space.
Made to change how space feels.

This was my 6th year attending MDW in some capacity, and even though big fashion gradually kind of took over the whole thing, still a bunch of studios and creatives who insist and persist in their practice were there, in spaces that support the new and fresh of the design world from a place of comunal uplifting (@the.thing.magazine wrote a good article about design week decay if you’re interested).
Even though some were a performative spectacle for god knows who, I wouldn’t lose faith just yet, there are people out there doing everything they can to express themselves genuinely through their work and chances are, they want to tell you all about it.
Happy to have been a part of the space and group we had, who restored my faith and of those who visited.
Forever in awe of @juliuswalsch and his creative dedication 🩵
💜 Violetta Mirror - feminine, creative energy captured into a strong, graphic, yet suprisingly romantic form. Inspired by Spanish architecture, beloved scents and flavours. Born in collaboration of two creatives @kristinabuskodesign x @buket_studio_
This was a dreamy week for her at @comune.obj exhibition. 🌸💜 Thanks @spazioivy for hosting. 💜🌸
See You next year Milan!
For @ada_sokol , traveling to Milan Design Week every year is a ritual. As intense as it is inspiring – and yet, always worth it. We asked Ada to share her favorite exhibitions so we could explore the city together. The result is our brand new guide in PURO Mag.
Ada is a 3D and mixed-media artist with a particular eye for design that defines near futures. Her art – on the verge of subtlety, femininity, and hyperrealism – carries something distinctive that speaks to an emerging aesthetic, and has attracted clients such as Apple, Louis Vuitton, Gentle Monster, Rimowa, and Valentino to name a few. That’s why following in her footsteps through Milan feels so exciting.
From the best of new design at @alcova.milano , through Polish modernist accents with a brilliant show by @visteria.foundation , to the defiant exhibition of collectible design rooted in material experiments by @comune.obj – where Ada celebrated the launch of her collaboration with @lexavala , a minimalist lighting brand.

We feel grateful for the warm reception we received while presenting the Eraway System at Milan Design Week 2026. We were honored to be part of @comune.obj curation and want to thank @spazioivy for their lovely hosting. The week-long exhibition had us meet inspiring artists and witness remarkable works.
One of our highlights was the Comune party and the Eraway sound system’s performance under full load. Italian Police can testify. @studiomaximilianbeck and @____adamskotarczak set made this night one for the books.
@jacortorreala listening session was the perfect chance to relax with soothing ambient, experimental, and jazz sounds as he guided us through his exceptional curatorial journey.
Thank you Milan. Hear you next year.
