Ana Everling (@anaeverling )- vocals, looper
Edinho Gerber (@edinhogerber )- guitars
Welcome into the creative world of vocalist Ana Everling and guitarist Edinho Gerber. Edinho’s mastery of the 7-string and 12-string guitars provides a lush harmonic landscape for Ana’s voice - brilliant, nuanced, and rich in color - and her inventive use of electronics, including looping and effects that evoke children’s choirs, monastic chants, and echoes from the depths of nature. Ana leads the project with original compositions inspired by her homeland, the Republic of Moldova. Together, they create a deeply expressive sound, rooted in tradition and shaped by contemporary textures.

SIDE YARD SOUNDS: ABEEKU + INGA Friday, May 8, 2026 7:00 PM 9:00 PM $15 — tickets in bio ABEEKU @abekuabeku is the latest facet of the vast artistic expression of composer and performer David Boykin. Its a combination of electro soul, golden era hip hop production, and spiritual jazz into a sensuous blend of Afro-electronic bliss; utilizing vocals, synthesizers, digital samplers, electronic drums, key boards, and bass. The lineup features: Jon-Edward Stokes on bass; Crai’Sean George on Keyboards; and David Boykin on Drum Machines, Digital Samplers, Synthesizer, Saxophone, and Vocals. inga @ingxbire is a multidisciplinary artist, curator, & birthworker born & raised in southwest Michigan, with roots in Rwanda, now based in Chicago. Her work lives at the intersection of vulnerability, memory, & spirituality—a space she calls “where art meets ritual.” Through music, visual storytelling, & community-centered practice, she creates immersive experiences rooted in introspection & care. A student of The Soulquarians, inga blends hip hop, soul, & ancestral influence into a sound that feels both intimate & expansive. Self described as the Boom Baptist, she channels emotion, rhythm, & lineage into music that explores love, longing, identity, & divine alignment—each song unfolding like a confession, a prayer, or a portal. Guided by intuition & grounded in honesty, inga’s work moves across sound, curation, & birthwork holding space for transformation, connection, & remembrance.

We’re thrilled to announce Spectral Psalm, a solo exhibition of a new installation by Lindsey Dorr-Niro (@l_r_d_n ), on view May 23 through June 20, 2026, with an opening reception on May 23. Followed by two activations: June 6, 7–9 PM Zander Raymond (@zanderraymond ), Erik Kramer (@wind_howling_through_trees.mp3 ) June 13, 4–7 PM Lindsey Dorr-Niro & Marty McConnell (@martyoutloud ) Spectral Psalm is an act of world building and re-building. It is a second act — an amplification, condensation, and reconfiguration of a previous constellation. What began as documentation of that work turned into a film within which a technical glitch yielded hundreds of abstractions that, alongside a series of inquiries into the nature and function of order became the motivation, the source, for this re-iteration. Failure of control as generative. Emergent. Emergence. The result is a stream-like structure of experiential inquiry and exposition in the form of a film which acts as the source point and guide for the installation, a text (as narration in film and printed object), a musical score (Zander Raymond), a poster (Sonnenzimmer), and an entangled environment encompassing Compound Yellow as a site of activation, event, and communion. As a kind of stage, it hosts related embodied inquiry through guided contemplation, poetry, text, conversation, and musical performance. ____ Lindsey Dorr-Niro (BFA University of Wisconsin-Madison, and MFA Yale School of Art) is an artist and educator based in Chicago. Working primarily through large-scale installations, her practice constructs contemplative environments that invite relational and elemental awareness. Her work emphasizes the space between forms—foregrounding interdependence, emergence, and transformation—and encourages viewers to engage in processes of reimagining both world and self. This Saturday Side Yard Sounds presents: Toby Summerfield / Sky Brothers / The Shape Of / ragenap + dathon + adams April 25, 7–9 PM $15 — tickets in bio Toby Summerfield ( tobinsummerfield ) Sky Brothers (Nick Broste @nbroste , Hawk Colman) The Shape Of (Donny Mahlmeister @donny_emmmm , Theo Katsaounis @kurt_nirvonnegut , Jamie Levinson @bald_dad ) ragenap + dathon + adams (@pfcidb , @microtonedosing , @alexander_adams_music ) _____ Toby Summerfield (1978) has worked in creative music for 30 years. Operating in a space where rock music, minimalism, songcraft, improvising, atmosphere and emotion coexist.
Toby will be playing pieces from his new solo record called “Bodies of Water”. A description of his process is as follows:
“This solo practice was born in the loneliness of the pandemic, by reflecting on vocabulary and technique I have developed to interact with my Music Friends. By remembering the way the two musical bodies fit together. It is an exploration of my relationship with my instrument, physically, technically, emotionally. As a composer, collaborator and fan. The sounds are hypnotic and meditative, questioning and challenging and soothing. Percussive and roiling. A cloud to sit in and be pushed around by… The personal experience of making this music is turned into a space you can come into, too. Welcome.” Sky Brothers (Nick Broste/Hawk Colman) Nick Broste (trombonist, composer, recording engineer) has been an active player in the Chicago music scene since 1997. He has performed with James Falzone, Fred Lonberg-Holm, Jason Ajemian, Jeb Bishop, Keefe Jackson, Anton Hatwich, Marc Unternahrer, Mars Williams, Jim Baker, Josh Berman, Dave Rempis, Marc Riordan, Jamie Branch, Matt Bauder, and many others, as well as bands such as Wilco, Spoon, TV on the Radio, Cursive and Broken Social Scene. He’ll be joined this evening by Hawk Colman.
