What a brilliant final day of Varsity action! Day 3 saw the closing football fixtures that always bring Varsity to an unforgettable finish.
Two brilliant victories for the Blades:

An outstanding display of football from both teams and the perfect way for the College Blades to secure the Varsity 2026 title for the third year running! 🔥

A great day at the Jobs Fair hosted by the Sheffield United Community Foundation bringing together organisations such as HM Revenue and Customs, the National Health Service, British Armed Forces and many more to support young people aged 18+ into employment and further education opportunities.
We had the privilege of speaking to some amazing charities and staff throughout the day, especially Grow UK and Faye Mellor from The Suit Works, please check them out as they’re doing monumental work for young people seeking employment and guidance.
As Hatch grows, days like this remind us why helping organisations tell their stories matters, amplifying reach, impact and community connection through film and media.

College Varsity Day 2 ⚔️
Day 2 took place at the EIS, from athletics and Danish long ball to basketball, badminton, and futsal, our students delivered outstanding performances across the board! The atmosphere was electric all day, with fierce competition embraced by both sides 👏
All eyes now turn to football at the end of the week, as the final fixtures bring Varsity 2026 to a close ⚽️🏆

We're proud to share that student Daisy Oxley has been selected to represent Sheffield United Community College on the @cimspa Youth Community Panel!
The panel is made up of students from across the country who act as representatives, ensuring young people have a voice in shaping the future of the sport and physical activity sector🏃♀

Congrats to students from E-ACT Parkwood Academy who represented the Community Foundation at the Premier League Inspires Challenge!
After presenting their ideas at Bramall Lane, the students were chosen to attend the event at Hill Dickinson Stadium where they spread awareness for eating disorders through a social action project, including delivering workshops in food technology lessons to educate students in their school❤
Well done on delivering an impactful project with an important message!
