After ten years in Hong Kong, French designer Alexis Dupont collects memories like morning mists—on Bowen Road hikes, from ding-ding trams, in old Sheung Wan shops and harbor breezes. In his Mid-Levels “Sunset Apartment,” where every memory is kept, softly damp.
The space embraces “Mid-Century Tropicalism,” blending deep wood tones with vibrant color accents for a modern Brazilian feel. Warm beige walls, a stag horn bench, horsehair lamps, and woven bamboo details connect the wild, the tropical, and Hong Kong’s local climate—all under one roof.
