Wenzhou Legend | A 7,000sqm clubhouse designed by AB Concept crowns Wenzhou Lucheng Plaza, where Ou embroidery, kiln ceramics and mother-of-pearl inlay meet contemporary luxury. The arrival lobby frames sweeping Ou River views; all-day restaurant Jin Ge sits beneath an eight-metre dome with a bespoke Ou-sculpted landscape wall, while adjacent bar Tide features an oxidised-copper, shell-shaped counter that shimmers like river ripples.

AB Concept has shaped interiors for the Four Seasons, W Hotels and Mandarin Oriental across Asia, the Middle East and Europe. Projects like the W Bali marked a defining moment, establishing the studio’s flair for dramatic, sensual design that feels both unexpected and profoundly refined.

BANGLE by AB Concept
Noritake Design Collection
BANGLE is inspired from the timeless elegance of delicate jewelry. Much like bangles, which are often worn as statement pieces, this collection seeks to infuse tableware with a similar sense of artistry and visual impact.
OCEAN in the BANGLE series draws from the textures of the sea—such as the intricate patterns of sea urchins, clamshells, and seashells. Ed and Terrance translated the fine details onto ceramic bowls and plates to evoke the beauty of multiple bangles stacked together, creating a striking a sculptural set for a table or shelf. OCEAN offers a sensory experience that engages sight, taste, smell, and touch, fostering a tactile connection with the vessel that carries the food.
時代を超えて愛される繊細なジュエリーのエレガンスに着想を得た「BANGLE」。その第1弾としてデビューした OCEAN は、貝殻などのテクスチャーからインスパイアされたデザイン。AB Conceptのエド・ウン、テレンス・ウガンはこの自然のディテールを、積み重ねたバングルのような陶磁器のボウルとプレートに昇華させました。装いに華やぎを添えるジュエリーのように、このコレクションもまた、空間に確かな存在感を与えます。テーブルや棚では、まるで芸術作品のような存在感を放ち、五感を刺激するように設計されたこのシリーズが、器、食事、そしてその瞬間をより深く繋げていきます。

Inspired by photographs taken by AB Concept founder Ed Ng of the seasonal scenery that surrounds his home in mountainous Karuizawa, Japan, Tableau captures the brisk yet soft, dream-like light and color of the Japanese Alps.
Drawing on various abstract and artistic painting techniques, we worked with interior design and architecture studio @ab_concept to capture this majestic landscape from a range of perspectives–from distant and delicate to fully immersive. A backdrop of fine line strokes in varying lengths and densities illustrate the coniferous forest as each colorway explores the micro-season of a particular time of day. This panoramic scene reveals reflective touches, creating a glistening mountainscape that is at once evocative and serene.
The design of @akirabackhk takes inspiration from the philosophy of a “Culinary Symphony”, orchestrating a dramatic yet inviting space that offers guests a multisensory dining experience.
Echoing Akira Back’s Japanese and Korean heritage while harmonising with the architectural language of @thehenderson_hk by Zaha Hadid, the restaurant unveils a meticulously layered, visually striking environment - a place where professionals can enjoy an elegant business lunch and where diners come to celebrate life’s finest moments in style.
