Grateful for all the great projects I have been trusted with in 2023. It has been a wild year and I got to try out new things like working on Ektachrome like in this Armani project, but also on other projects: 4-perf 35mm 50D where you can barely see the grain but everything unfolds beautifully, Alexa35 in Dolby Vision HDR and much more. It’s hard to say no to exciting projects, and I’ve had more on my plate that I should have had, and unfortunately had to let down some people due to lack of time. This Armani project was one of them: after finishing the grade the team wanted to try a cooler direction instead of the warm one we had graded first pass, which in the end meant that much of the Ektachrome was graded by the director. These stills posted here are from the grade I worked on. I plan to set aside more time for myself in 2024 and onwards so I’ll have a better shot at giving a helping hand if needed. A happy new year to everyone.
