Yesterday marked the tenth anniversary of
@real_hyper_real , a project that originally started as an event to break free from the constraints of Berlin’s party culture at that time and that has evolved over the years into a radio show, an online community and a traveling event series and residency. I can’t wait to see where it will take us in the coming years and I have some exciting plans in the near future for it.
Today however I’m super excited to announce my next project, one that in its scale and scope is much different from the things I’ve done in recent years! As of this week I’ll be handling, curating and organizing a weekly Wednesday night event called MODEL COLLAPSE at the famous
@silencioclub in Paris. You heard it right, a weekly event dedicated to electronic club music with adventurous left-field detours.
The event takes its name from a phenomenon in machine learning: when AI systems are trained on their own outputs, they eventually degrade and collapse. But here, that breaking point becomes a creative proposition, the exact moment when established systems can no longer predict or contain what's about to emerge.
I’ll be working with artist and graphic designer
@lion.sauterleute on this, you him from the Hyper Real artworks and his visual work clubs such as FOLD in London and Club Raum in Amsterdam.
