Alice Monneret, je l’ai rencontrée à Rome, où elle a vécu et travaillé dans une des chambres de mon appartement, pendant six mois. Un an plus tard, à la galerie Giga, pendant 30 Giorni Intorno, exposition-performance où je vivais et travaillais dans cette galerie du centre de Rome, entouré des œuvres mouvantes d’Edgar Sarin, Mateo Revillo et autres artistes que j’aime tant, Alice est venue performer elle-même et a accroché une œuvre dont le titre à lui seul suscitait mon admiration: The Skin of the Divine Thing. Quelques mois plus tard, Nicolas Rein me demandait si je pouvais le mettre en contact avec cette jeune artiste (elle est née en 1999) pour l’intégrer dans le programme Générations qu’il a mis en place à la Galerie Michel Rein. C’est ainsi que le 27 mars 2025, a ouvert la première exposition parisienne d’Alice Monneret: Les Crieuses, Maman. Elle est ouverte jusqu’au 27 mai. Ses œuvres uniques font circuler le sang, ouvrant sur un monde fantastique, effrayant parfois, qui expose les tourments intimes des sorcelleries et des envoûtements féminins apaisés par des philtres végétaux et aquatiques; une œuvre organique et jubilatoire sur laquelle j’ai écrit des mots avec les mots de Véronique Terrier Hermann et Pauline Curnier Jardin. I met Alice Monneret in Rome, where she lived and worked in one of the rooms in my apartment for six months. A year later, at Galerie Giga, during 30 Giorni Intorno, an exhibition-performance where I lived and worked in this gallery in the center of Rome, surrounded by the moving works of Edgar Sarin, Mateo Revillo and other artists I love so much, Alice came to perform herself and hung a work whose title alone aroused my admiration: The Skin of the Divine Thing. A few months later, Nicolas Rein asked me if I could put him in touch with this young artist (she was born in 1999) to include her in the Générations program he had set up at Galerie Michel Rein. And so, on March 27, 2025, Alice Monneret's first Paris exhibition opened: Les Crieuses, Maman. It runs until May 27 at Galerie Michel Rein in Paris, 42 rue de Turenne.

I have been invited by Matteo Peretti to perform an exhibition in his gallery Giga in the heart of Rome. It is the show of a show built day after day with the kind support of Edgar Sarin, Mateo Revillo & other friends. I brought my apartment in the gallery and live there for a month, writing parts of the book that Georgia René-Worms and I are writing about our experience with Terzo Fronte. Here are wonderful works by the two main artists, along with drawings, texts, books and objects to be acquired. Little by the little a show appears and all the personal pieces that inspires it disappears, engulfed in the pages of the rising book. In Rome, opened last week at Museum of Contemporary Art (MACRO), the Pauline Curnier Jardin’s and Feel Good Cooperative’s show, name TRIVIALE, celebrating five years of collaboration of Pauline Curnier Jardin with Serena Olcuire, Alexandra Lopez, Giuliana Mira, Gilda Star, Barby de Martinez and Diana Veruzca Martinez, members of the Feel Good Cooperative. This is the most complete show about their collaboration and the first one in an institution in Rome, the town where they are working. The show brings three films, “Fireflies”, “The Day We Went to See Him Dead” and “Le Colonne della Colombo” along with sculptures, drawings, engravings set together in an installation half-domestic, half-suburban, conceived around the workspaces of roman sex workers: the room and the suburban streets. The exhibition, which is open until may 22nd, is curated by Luca Lo Pinto assisted by Chiara Siravo. THE GOLDEN DOOR by Gaïa Vincensini and curated by Gioia del Molin for the Swiss Institute in Rome. I had the chance to run the production, act in and edit this movie who was gracefully showed in the amazing space of Fondazione Sant’Elia in Palermo. We are very happy to announce our participation to Systema at Palais Carli in Marseille with works by Maxime Bichon, Laurie Charles, Adriano Costa, Molly Ledoux, Grossi Maglioni, Colin Ledoux and Georgia René-Worms Opening Friday, September 1 from 2pm SYSTEMA is a consortium of international and non profit art initiatives taking place annually in Marseilles. It is a celebration of the many forms of independence the invited projects are bringing along presenting get together installations in historical venues of Marseilles’ center. Additionally, SYSTEMA functions as an opportunity for project spaces to test new environments and modes of public programming. SYSTEMA internally curates their guests each year based on spontaneous or long-lasting affinities.

Last June in Rome, @asile_giuliano asked @pauline_curnier_jardin and @feel.good.cooperative a studio visit for the students of @zhdk.master.art.education . I had the honor to organize it at my place in Rome. Became a studio party, an event focused on videos, sculptures, drawings and prints, presenting a wide look on Pauline Curnier Jardin work with the cooperative. Dead pope, fireflies and balconies. Alessandra gave us a song and it was a blast. Thanks to Gilda, Alessandra « the bird » and Yuli.
