This is the dream. All I want to do is run and compete with the best. To have the opportunity to do this is truly a gift. This sport is a meditation and a craft. Every year is different and every race is a lesson.

When gold is the standard, it’s hard to be satisfied with anything else. Even though I wanted more, reflecting on this race has made me extremely proud of how far I’ve come in this sport. The idea of being unsatisfied with a global medal would have never crossed my mind just a few years ago. Now with 4 global medals in 3 different distances, I am extremely grateful for the position I am in.
It’s been an incredible indoor season and one that has fired me up more than ever for what’s possible.

Stoked to have the opportunity to represent the U.S. at another Indoor World Championships! While the 3k was great, I wanted much more from the 1500… but that’s the game.

This one has been on my radar for the past few years and it feels amazing to finally accomplish it. I knew the fitness was there and I was excited to go after it. With the help of some great pacemakers and an electric crowd, we got it done!
