Behind the scenes of The Miniature Wife S1! Where we basically shot everything twice! Miniature pass, full-size plate.
A lot of this was juggling miniatures and measurments, forced perspective, some motion control, eyelines, anticipating a technocrane, and making sure all of it lines up so the illusion actually works. Easy to mess up, very satisfying when it clicks.
Big challenge, even bigger payoff.

The ad was for a shoe cleaning kit popularly known as; “Reshoevn8r”. The goal was to market a fun and creative storyline using the phrase; “Quit babyin’ your sneakers”.

Recently I tried to surf some good old toxic @instagram content. To my surprise, I was notified that my account @ColeDoran and @CellarDoorVisions was permanently disabled because my linked @facebook account did not follow the “community guidelines”. I never even use Facebook and have never done or posted anything that violates the rules. I use instagram to connect and network with like-minded people in my industry so this was pretty frustrating. Through all of this I realized that social media truly does not belong to you. Your profile does not belong to you. It belongs to whatever platform it is hosted on, and “they” always have the option of taking that away from you.
