As the Canadian musician behind Sunset Rubdown and Moonface, co-frontman of Wolf Parade, songwriting member of Swan Lake, and keyboardist for Frog Eyes and Fifths of Seven, Spencer Krug has been a major player on over twenty-five releases within the past two decades. He currently resides on Vancouver Island, continues to play with Wolf Parade and Sunset Rubdown, runs his own label called Pronounced Kroog, and writes, releases and performs a prolific amount of music under his own name, showcasing a mix of new and old material on stage. New album SAME FANGS, out May 15. @elbow.kiss , who features heavily on Spencer’s new album, will be opening as well as joining him on stage for a few songs.

At the beginning of February, I had the honor of going to my first (absolutely not last) @coldbonesfest 💜 This festival is something to 100% check out! What an awesome variety of genres and bands from near and far! It is run by some wonderful people and I think they are just getting started 🔥 If you need a good weekend in Drumheller 🦖🦕 and live music, this is a great way to spend a February weekend! Cold Bones 2026 Thanks to the amazing folks at Cold Bones for having me out to document all the madness. It’s truly a one of a kind festival for western Canada, if you haven’t been be sure to visit next year. So many phenomenal bands and incredible people make this festival happen. It was an insane weekend of high fives, hugs, all the best people and absolutely amazing music. The community that Cold Bones has managed to bring together for this weekend is something that has to be experienced first hand. See you next year 🙌🏻

The level of nostalgia from attending @coldbonesfest was a little overwhelming. As a former street-concert goer and punk pavilion kid, this felt like stepping into a time machine in the best way possible. Four very unique venues hosted huge lineups of talent each day of the festival — there truly was something for everyone. From the incredible acoustics of Knox United Church, to swing-dancing tunes at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 22, across the block to the sweaty mosh pit at Heller Food Sandwiches, and over to Drum Distilling Co. for music and a good drink — this festival rocks. Family-friendly, community-led, and it genuinely felt like home. If you didn’t get a chance to check it out this year, you won’t want to miss it in 2027! 📸 - @redshotimages

Our hearts are still bursting with gratitude, and wonder, and joy, and all the warm fuzzy feelings that come with an electrifying and unforgettable music festival. Loads of new discoveries and friends, paired with the power of bangers and community - pure bliss! @coldbonesfest brought absolutely impeccable vibes to Drumheller this weekend, and if you weren't lucky enough to go, we cannot recommend it enough. I’m so happy I got to be there for Integra Pink’s first international festival and tour, the first of many. We made it happen. Congratulations to Cold Bones Fest on another successful year. Thank you for having us take part in this growing and evolving music festival. Huge shout-out to The Blue for curating the nights.
