After flying off the shelves last year, we knew we had to bring this smash hit back for the first warm longue weekend of the year. Loomi Lime, aka black lime, is a dried lime that adds an earthy, slightly funky depth and intrigue, brightening the citrus notes in the base beer while weaving in dried herbs and black pepper. It’s zippy, well-balanced, and the ultimate heat slayer.

We know what you’re thinking: What the heck is grape pomace? Easy! It’s the leftover skins, seeds, and stems from the winemaking (or in this case, grape beer making) process. Traditionally, piquette is made by adding water directly to the pomace, pulling the remaining delicate flavors, aromas, and color. So of course, we had to try this method with our most versatile table beer: Chaise! It’s insanely crushable with berries, citrus, and melon in every sip . Time’s up, sparkling wine — at 2.9%, you can’t go wrong. This one’s made to enjoy all.day.longue.

🍻 It’s National Homebrew Day so we want to give it up for all the homebrewers pushing boundaries, and just straight vibing on the art & science of the best beverage! 🍻
As we’re proud to say, homebrewing is a big part of our story. In fact, we’re still brewing some of the recipes from back in the day! Part house, part brew lab, The Establishment started as a place where a group of friends gathered, brewed and drank beer, and lived the good life. Brandon and Mike had started homebrewing together after meeting in university, later being introduced to Dave through Calgary’s incredible homebrew community, The Cowtown Yeast Wranglers.
The epic Calgary flood of 2013 did its worst to this Erlton home. Mike was living in the basement at the time and lost everything he owned. For days they pulled debris and mud out of that basement, with the strength of friendships bringing The Establishment back to its feet. The unforeseen benefit of all this destruction was that a completely gutted basement was the perfect space to set up a new home-brew system. The brewing and experimentation rose to new levels, and soon the medals from various home-brew comps were rolling in.
The original Establishment has long since been demolished, but its memory lives on in our taproom where friends (old and new) are always welcome and great beer is always on tap.
