38 years ago today, one family said yes, and ours got more time.
My dad received a new heart and lungs at Stanford. His healthy heart then went on to save another man’s life too.
What that gift gave us wasn’t just more years.
It gave us family dinners, road trips, laughter, and the chance to watch him grow old.
I’ll never forget him saying,
“I might actually live long enough to be an old man.”
That is what organ donation means to me.
More time.
More love.
More ordinary moments that turn out to be everything.
Register as an organ donor.
Love wholeheartedly.
I love you, Dad.

Series 64 — Echoes of New York
Walking Manhattan with my ISO locked at 64 and a 3.2–5 sec shutter, I let the city melt into painterly after-images. The series began in late ’23, and has won awards from American Photography 41 (2025) and IPA (2024).
Shot on 16-bit medium-format (281 trillion tones/colors) the prints hold every brush-stroke of light.
Country 41. Nine days circling Iceland’s coasts, summiting Hvannadalshnúkur, and chasing a midnight golden hour that lasted forever.
Captured on @hasselblad X2D 100C
6-foot prints available
Words can’t capture how in awe I am to call this extraordinary woman my fiancée. @katrose.studio , you embody beauty, depth, soul, and heart. It’s the honor of my life to walk beside you and to be a witness to your life.
Massive love to @devinjarmstrong for capturing these moments, and to @no3.shop & @thefuturefine for crafting a one-of-a-kind symbol of our bond. Absolutely perfect. 🤍
