This Black History Month, we’re honoring the people who have shaped our neighborhoods and continue to inspire younger generations. Alona Jennings is a social entrepreneur, youth advocate, and founder of Code 4 Hood @code4hood whose work is rooted in education, access, and opportunity.
With over 15 years of experience in tech and technology education, Alona has dedicated her career to empowering young people through workforce and economic development. As Code 4 Hood’s Executive Director, her superpowers in program development and software training have helped turn vision into real, life-changing opportunities for youth across the region.
