In anticipation of our upcoming solo exhibition with Greg Ruth this July, we're excited to officially launch the first limited edition print in our new ongoing VILLAIN series.⁠ ⁠ For our first course, we're serving up a plate of juicy Los Pollos Hermanos, celebrating one of the coldest and most calculating antagonists in television history.⁠ ⁠ GUS comes in a signed and numbered edition of only 75 copies and is available now, exclusively from CODA.

VILLAIN #4: XENOMORPH The apex predator crouching in the midnight shadow of space, this one brought up some interesting discussions about whether it qualifies as a villain at all, anymore than a shark or scorpion might be for only acting out of its nature in a state of animalistic innocence. Yet in no way does it not align perfectly with most every villainous trait available, and whether agency’s required, I would suggest the xenomorph’s agenda is splendidly its own, a being of ferociously singular intent and purpose built into its very physical form down t a cellular level. It is the baby who reflects anyone unfortunate enough to be its mother. So, HAPPY BELATED ALIEN DAY, to all the villains out there who celebrate. He covets nothing but the job and the one that follows, and is a creature of splendid cunning and focus, leashed by a simple moral code he is supremely devoted to. Chigurgh is the unstoppable natural presence that moves through the world as a force to be avoided at all opportunity, and the only way to win the game he wants to bring you, is to not play at all.
