Tonight we return to @netilradio with some serious biz! Rezzie @tsun_iman invites @simao.official , booker and resident of the infamous @klubverboten night. He learned his craft in the London warehouse scene and is now an established DJ in the underground circuit. A master of groove, tension and release with an ear for harmonies, he was also one of the hand picked super talents to release on HOSH’s imprint fryhide and has toured throughout Europe’s major clubs and festivals including Watergate Berlin, Sonar Barcelona and Norstern Basel, to name a few. RESIDENTS Last but certainly not least are the majestic Co-Select residents who we are so excited to be reunited with after being away from us all around the world @___airali___ can be heard on dance floors all over London repping Co-Select, @sisucrew and @sodaa.club . More recently she has been gracing the decks in Japan supporting the likes of Loraine James and Vegyn Vegyn. Her set playing b2b with @licaxxx1 will be a truly special occasion that you don’t want to miss! @emmybacharach is a regular at Istanbul clubs Pixie and Sahika. She holds a radio residency with partner D-Joyce on Root Radio and has played at festivals from Brainchild to Atlas Electronic in Morocco. We are so excited for her return to London after 3 years based in Istanbul and back on the Co-select decks! DJ Stoker has been operating from the shadows as a co-select resident for over four years - his sound is rooted in a particular fondness of 90s and 00s UK dance music tradition, and kept fresh via unexpected and brave twists.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: In only T-minus 4 days we are graced with the presence of selector and producer @kouslin who will be playing b2b with @alicia_ajs . London-based Kouslin is both a producer and DJ and takes pride on moving between tempos whilst focusing on bass and dancehall inspired tracks driven by an interest in UK sound system culture. He has releases on Livity Sound and “Bad”, his collab with Logan was a 2019 anthem, featuring on Idris Elba’s Yardie compilation. Kouslin’s sound spans far beyond UK funky and he loves to create anything that is percussive and bass heavy.    He released his first EP on Livity back in 2020 (gosh what a year), and has continued to defy what is expected from tempo and rhythm with his unique DJ sets that span many genres and BPMs. When he's not working at Ninja Tune, Kouslin runs the Le Chatroom record label, one of his most prized creations, which includes releases from familiar faces such as Yak, Amor Satyr and Cando. It’s latest EP by Pluralist was a hit over the summer. Kouslin is a versatile DJ who is not locked to a single BPM or genre so expect to take a detour from the usual sounds and experience the likes of UK funky, hard drum, Gqom, kuduro and more. Amongst all the excitement for the party this Friday (tix in bio!) we are blessed to be on the @netilradio airwaves tomorrow! Our two very special guests are our close friend @ryo_kurashina a co-founder of @striations_ and @sodaa.club and all round legend @____nou____ the founder of @_bassment Expect a wide range of sounds and tempos starting with some “slower chuggerzz” and moving onwards and upwards into the world of hectic energy, this show is not one to miss! ❤️

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: -5 days until we dance again... Today's artist intro is all about multi-genre selector @alicia_ajs , who will be closing Friday's party b2b @kouslin . Alicia is a producer & musician making deeply rhythmic, off-kilter dance music inspired by a love of club culture and the avant garde. Residing in London, she cut her teeth working at Phonica Records and studying contemporary music, a combination that has seen her develop a passion for obscure and unusual soundscapes. Having played on strong lineups across various pockets of London's music scene, her sonic vision was realised in 2020 when she started releasing her own production, her latest work being ‘Archangelic Collapse’ which dropped as part of the ‘In Clusters’ compilation on Mor Elian’s Fever AM. Five minutes of oblique sound design that we’ve come to expect from her radio mixes, readjusted for the dark corners of the club. She is a firm believer in playing the right genre at the right time and can be found either mixing leftfield bass with UK Techno at venues such as Fabric, Corsica Studios and Bristol's Strange Brew, or doing the complete opposite, having been invited to soundtrack chilled-out wellness days and ambient around London. She also keeps busy by co-hosting the regular, exploratory 'ambient club' event series, Terra Obscura, with her dear friend and collaborator Avsluta. Next edition at Ormside Projects on 3rd December.
