At @cntrespace.physio , we appreciate the mind-body connection and recognise the importance of a balanced approach to physiotherapy and wellness. This philosophy is reflected in our new logo, symbolizing the harmony of mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. It highlights the partnership and collaboration between physiotherapist and client, teacher and student. Our role is not to heal the patient, but to support and guide them in their own healing journey. Having an integrative approach to physio means that we will help identify and address other (non-physical) factors that may be driving an individual’s symptoms. For instance, we know factors such as high levels of stress and anxiety can amplify an individual’s pain experience. Our Physio’s can help address issues such as this through a comprehensive and holistic approach including practices such as yoga, mindfulness and breathing techniques to calm the nervous system. 1 year of @cntrespace.physio !!! What a journey it’s already been! 1 year of serving the community. Of diving into collaborative journeys with our clients to help overcome painful, stubborn and frustrating conditions. 1 year of helping clients to work towards achieving incredible results that are meaningful to them. 1 year of being here, with you, for you, for it all. We are here because we believe there is a different way to practice physiotherapy - More gentle, quiet, person-centred and holistic. Wishing @toxicweapons all the very best as they take on the world at the cheerleading world championships this weekend!!! This is such an incredibly talented and hard working group of athletes and they deserve an incredible result! Huge shoutout to @coach.rachx for what you’ve been able to achieve with this group! Thank you for trusting us with your athletes. It’s been amazing to work with it this team and play our role in doing what we can to help them keep up with their massive workload! @toxicweapons all thats left to do is to show the world what you’ve got! Pro bodybuilder @emhubeck has left no stone unturned in her prep and is ready to light up the stage this Saturday for her first show of the season! She is a serious professional and is awesome to work with as she doesn’t miss a beat with her mobility homework and physio exercises she’s given. She’s got incredible results to show! If you’re performing regularly, conditioning and a physio you trust should be a non-negotiable. So grateful for @camwatkins_87 at @cntrespace.physio for keeping me together this year and helping me prepare for @mxburlesquewa in June 😊 This year started with multiple injuries leading into Fringe, honestly, it was nerve-racking. I was really confronted with not being able to do what I usually do and how much it asks of you mentally as well as physically. Working with Cam has been a game changer. It’s reminded me that strength isn’t just about pushing harder it’s about consistency, conditioning, and trusting your body’s wisdom when you’ve put in the discipline to build that foundation. I have a PhD in health science and still forgotten how much I take my body and its recovery ability for granted sometimes. Through ongoing conditioning and strength work, I’ve been able to rebuild not just physically, but mentally feeling grounded, capable, and strong heading into competing in Mx Burlesque, as well as running my business which is also based in movement. For any burlesque dancer or performer doing regular shows: conditioning and strength training isn’t optional, it’s essential. Our bodies are our instrument, and they deserve to be supported like one. So grateful to have the right support in my corner ❤️ Also found it corny but funny that the lyrics of the song say “you got me kissing the ground” because my hip and knee mobility is back to doing that again yayy!!

Finding flow, balance and cultivating resilience through the journey of healing chronic low back and shoulder pain with @jayde.alexandra Moving in a way that is intentional, controlled and gentle, to spread good, healing energy through the body. To build safety and trust within the body and unravel tension and wound up tissues that have been overprotective for a long time. Using the practices to build a deeper relationship with the body. To understand what it needs in any given moment. Exploring the balance between holding on and letting go. Learning to move with fluidity while concurrently building strength and stability. Learning to move intelligently, and also trust the resilience and robustness of the body. This is incredibly empowering. Diving in with Jayde and helping support her with her pain journey has been so rewarding. We’re still on the journey and I appreciate her trust and commitment to the process.

Diving into the world of @simonborgolivier for the past 8 days has been magical! ❤️✨ To bring him over to Perth and dive in deep with him at @cntrespace is a dream come true. I love the way his brain works. Endless wisdom to explore. Perhaps in 8 days we barely scratched the surface. But it unlocked many things for me and my practice which continues to deepen. I know the learnings will continue to sink into my being and will come through as I teach. This journey is a beautiful one and it continues. I will share more from the week soon. And we will certainly be getting Simon back in the future. In the meantime - “Enjoy your life, look after your body and help other people enjoy their lives” Simon Borg-Olivier
