In “Print in Space,” Professor @iminyeh ’s students are learning to expand printmaking beyond the page, transforming repeated images into sculptural, spatial, and wearable forms. One floor up in Doherty Hall, Professor @dzegede ’s “Dye Lab” students are exploring color as both process and history, experimenting with natural and synthetic dyes while considering their cultural and environmental origins.

It’s been a while since students have printed a stone litho in our shop, and even longer since a class has run focusing on it- so it’s extra nice to see students jumping into the process, graining stones, drawing and processing lovely images, and pulling prints from them. Today @jofipop finished her full edition and hot dang- the whole edition turned out great ❤️ 👏 Stay tuned for more stone litho delights this semester as we grain off the layer of dust from our rock collection. #cmuprints #lithography #stone
