On April 3rd, 2026, senior and director Jocelyn Harte @jofipop opened her solo exhibit “Gentle Madness.” Inspired both by her multicultural upbringing and her studies in Italy, she illustrates a new mythology. Art history, starting from the first cave painting, has its roots in every painting, sketchbook and ceramic sculpture. I rediscovered some early childhood photos of my baptism, back when my family lived in Eritrea. I grew up with no religion, rather a blend of different cultures spanning all across time. I made this triptych from scratch, using pigments, powders, glues and egg.

Things I’ve worked on during this snowy week! ❄️ I didn’t like how the oil painting turned out, but it was great practice! I did the sketch after the painting which was a mistake lol, sketch is better. Tried sledding with no sled, ended up rolling around in the snow.
