Our S1 pupils recently took part in the "Choices for Life" event!
They took part in interactive sessions with Police Scotland, Fire & Rescue, The Rosey Project, Medics Against Violence and British Transport Police.
Topics included:
✅ Knife crime, gangs & child exploitation
✅ Police powers and consequences
✅ Fire safety & CPR (hands-on!) 🔥
✅ Consent & healthy relationships
✅ Drug use and addiction awareness
A fantastic opportunity for pupils to learn from real experts — with some even inspired to consider careers in emergency services 👏

understanding of the sensory systems and
strategies to support sensory integration.

After consultation with our young people, we adapted our uniform policy to allow pupils to come to school in the summer term (April-June) wearing loose fitting black dress/chino shorts with their school shirt and tie.
