Shortly after I moved to NYC, I went to see some friends in the Barrow Street Theatre production of Sweeney Todd off-Broadway — and I loved every minute. I was particularly blown away by the actor playing Pirelli/Beggar Woman, a one Stacie Bono 😍
She was SO brilliant—
Funny, playful, bold, strong, mischievous, heartbreaking…
I was obsessed and have followed her since. I had to know what she was up to!
Fast forward about 8 years, and I see her name next to mine on a cast list 🫢
She is every bit as brilliant as I remember, and more. But the best surprise of all, is how incredibly giving and loving this woman is ❤️
She’ll melt you onstage and then make you cry laughing in the dressing room… and then you’ll turn around and have to most beautiful, thought provoking conversations.
Multitudes? She contains ‘em.

I can’t express how lucky I am to have gotten to be her sister onstage (and off 🥹)
