I was managing to hold it together pretty well until I saw my version of Stephen Sondheim's "Giants in the Sky" with Matt Castle from Fiasco Theater's INTO THE WOODS included in this list from the The New York Times. Thank you for your work, Maestro Sondheim. I had the distinct pleasure of directing the brilliant, @jenmarinelli , @courtneymentzel , @shaqnelson , and @sammi.richardson in their theatrical showcase scenes. The showcase is entirely digital, but we were able to shoot it almost entirely in-person, observing strict COVID safety protocols.

This was a true labor of love while also being an incredibly satisfying creative experience, collaborating with my students, fellow faculty, and our incredible cinematographer and editor @miguelgarzonmar . I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to expand my creative horizons (directing on film for the first time!) during what has been such a trying period for so many of us.
