Actors, welcome to Class ❤️
This is your space to connect-
with yourself
with your scene partner
with the situation
When you allow yourself to do this entirely unguarded you will find you are connected to the MOMENT ITSELF.
And because the moment gives you everything you need you can now say goodbye to:
Trying
Struggling
Efforting
Generating
Planning
Anxiety
The FALSE belief that you're NOT (good/ interesting/ talented) ENOUGH
And hello to:
Freedom
Deeply authentic emotion
Spontaneity
Fun
Ease
Trust
Believing YOU ARE (good/ interesting/ talented) ENOUGH
Class is open to all who are committed to working professionally as actors- regardless of where you are on your journey. We have actors who are on set with Oscar winners working and learning alongside those who are looking for their first jobs.
How does this work...? Because the right people always find us. Besides there is no room for ego if you are going to reach your artistic potential, and it's only ever the ego that is getting in the way of your next breakthrough.

WHAT THE HELL IS LETTING GO?
I was told to ‘let go’ for three years at the bristol old vic theatre school and never really knew what the hell anyone was talking about. ‘Let go of what????!!!’ I felt like screaming. But I kept my mouth shut and just kept trying, failing, and feeling like I was the wrong person for the job. That doesn’t need to be the experience!
So what the hell is letting go, then?
Well first let me say it’s not always screaming and shouting or throwing a chair across a room; it’s about dropping the act. ‘Letting go’ of controlling what we feel, how we feel it, how (and how much) to express it, and ultimately- of any thoughts/ giving a shit about what we look like in the eyes of others. It’s fully dropping your guard. Surrendering to the moment. Allowing yourself to be seen, to be hurt, to be loved, to be mean, to BE whatever the moment is asking you to be. That’s not an intellectual exercise; it’s a practical exercise in allowance and trust.
Whatever actions come once you let go - and allow yourself the inner freedom to feel fully and express that full feeling as it wants to be expressed- will be truthful, whether that means slamming a door, throwing a chair, or holding a hand.
At our recent on camera masterclass we were treated to SO MANY moments and scenes like this and I’m extremely proud to share one example now for anyone who’s interested to see what the work can look like.
But before you watch I want to make it clear: the result is not the prize. This actor struggles too, but she keeps showing up and practicing ‘letting go’ every week. Over time it’s becoming her habit, and that is one major thing that marks her out as a true professional, in my opinion at least.
