We’re excited to announce the winners of the Fringe Feb Awards 2026 at Playhouse East 🎭
As part of this year’s Fringe Feb Festival, we introduced the Awards to recognise outstanding new writing presented during the festival.
Four productions have been awarded Fringe Feb Awards 2026, which include rehearsal space, development support and the opportunity to further develop the work — including another run at Playhouse East.

Supporting new work is at the heart of what we do. The Fringe Feb Awards are our way of helping bold new writing continue its journey beyond the festival.
Playhouse East is a completely independent, self-funded theatre, run by a small team committed to creating space for artists to experiment, develop work and bring new stories to audiences.
There is a huge appetite in London for new writing and early discovery, and we’re proud that Playhouse East is becoming a springboard for new work, helping lower the barriers for artists to create theatre that might not otherwise find a stage.
Huge congratulations to the brillaint Omar and his team — we can’t wait to support the next stage of their work. Stay tuned.
