In two weeks Las Vegas hosts the first ever Enhanced Games, sport’s first openly pro-doping competition.
Back in 2024 we spoke to swimmer James Magnussen ahead of his $1m attempt at the 50m freestyle world record on enhancements that would get him banned anywhere else.
In the end his training partner Kristian Gkolomeev took the record (20.89s) and the cheque. Magnussen returns for the Games this month.
