- our first reach to the top - Ima and I experienced the fear of god, god being nature and its ability to literally kill you if you do not submit and respect. Altitude sickness is not a joke.
- nature is a beautiful reminder that you are not important, you build importance into your life. To feel small is to feel alive, sometimes to feel pain is to feel alive. I have now experienced the coldest cold.
- give yourself permission to do whatever the fuck you want - allow waiting for it elsewhere, that shit is whack.
- I havenโt stopped crying since I got back. Something has been unlocked.

PROGRAMME REVEAL
A diary is not an autobiography. A diary is a process, a conjunction, a moment ceased, an and & and + and, heading towards an unknown future. Sine Screen and not/nowhereโs experimental diary film programme explores the potentials of the diary form as an incomplete self-archive, a mode of self-representation that destabilises the idea of the fixed subject through recording temporal accumulation and lived presence.

In this workshop, you will study the basic operations of the Aaton LTR, loading coaxial 400ft mags, exposure suggestions, and instructions for using this camera setup in team collaboration. Each participant will be able to shoot 100ft of film with their peers, alongside demonstrations of using a clapperboard. This workshop will encourage skills in larger format film cameras as the knowledge can be applied to multiple 16mm cameras.
You will have a hands-on opportunity to learn the technical aspects of this camera. The Aaton LTR is a 16mm camera that can be adapted to super 16mm. It is great for on-set sound recording due to its quiet nature. This is an intermediate workshop; some basic knowledge of celluloid and 16mm formats will benefit participation. We will shoot a 400ft roll of Kodak Tri-X Black & White Reversal film on location, working as a small crew to experience the use of the camera in the field.
