Rain 🌨️pops at 2am early Sat. I’m a light sleeper- basically👂🏽rain wakes me up😳. I stay up til it’s time for set up at 5am. Rock up to Rio- breezy onshore 2ft slop in the dark. 7:30am start…Fkn stressing!

The fundraiser & event is our
@sealbeachboardriders primary source of rev 💵. We’re self funded so the stress was real having gone 60 weeks with no event! This was our 3rd event since taking it over from the SBLG’s & we’ve hosted amazingly fun comps ‘22, ’23 & ‘24 rollover kine in ‘25.
Thank you to our incredibly patient surf community, event staff & sponsors who understand the dynamics of getting Seal for 2 full 8hr days!
Gonna be a hard act to follow next year. GnarGnarda set the bar high!
