It's been pretty nuts year for TEM. Starting a new type of company with a bunch of people you deeply respect is pretty new. It makes sitting down to discuss a brief a pretty eye-opening experience and makes me very excited to be heading toward 2022. One is here

When navigating our virtual Nighthawks we found ourselves focused on a something other than the bar. A solitary Lamp post
Without a loneful charicter gazing into the undefined distance, it was hard to check this off as a Nighthawks reimagining. Yet it also seemed strangely Hopper-esque.
Maybe an isolated and static lamppost is a worthy adversary as a subject.

When considering Nighthawks as an virtual space, both the viewpoint and weather conditions become dynamic.
Through a series of animated sketches we wanted to consider these how these new attributes could offer alternative perspectives on this very familiar of paintings.

We came up with this concept 5 years ago, oh how time flies.
It's been great working with old and new friends to create something that really feels cultural relevant.
In what seems to be the new normal, we have been able to engage people from the hard hit events industry and concider a new narrative viewpoints to how one can experience a masterpiece.
