At the root of Offset Studios is people and community.
We recently kicked open the doors and threw a party to celebrate the studio officially opening.
It was nerve-wracking, cathartic, and a lot of fun.
After talking about this place for so long, it felt pretty special to finally see the room full of friends, family, collaborators, and people who have supported us while this thing was being built.
People were smiling, laughing, sweating, walking through the sets, and actually experiencing the space.
That made it a really fun night for Chris and I.
None of this happens without our incredibly talented partner, @martineast . She is a huge reason why this building looks and feels the way it does.
Offset Studios is officially open.
We want to thank @dnamediahq , @drinktempl , @tailgunnerbrewingco and the crew from @acmepizza for all the support.

The latest instalment of @_alexkwong and myself collaborating. This project was extra special as our good friend @jeffhumphreys asks us both to uplift his new studio @offsetstudios.ca with complete artistic freedom and trust. Alex and I have been working together with two different approaches to painting and welding them together to create dynamic combinations of abstraction and realism. The eclectic result of these on going collaborations is a result of friendship, talent and good energy. I think everyone including ourselves are happy with the result of this multi-collaborating project and space.
