I’d say I can’t believe my album is out but this day arriving is fully a result of belief and perseverance, it’s the culmination of years I spent hitting a wall and refused to not see what’s on the other side of it. It’s hard for me to admit I’m proud of myself, I am though, this shit was shredding me for the longest! The process stomped me out many a time before embracing me, but what an embrace, and what a response from everyone who supported me when I couldn’t tell up from down. I often wondered if the work was worth the time spent, I realized the answer is yes simply because it encouraged me not only to survive but to push further, I had to live to see this through. At its most potent I hope the album encourages others to learn themselves more and more with each passing moment. Somehow this album carries every version of me that’s came and went since the last time I shared a project; it’s the lump sum of what I gleaned from uncertainty, the flickers of conviction I tamed and rode til I was bucked off and had to search again, my mistakes, my triumphs, whether it’s spelled out or not it’s all in there. I regained trust in myself through the process, learned how to give myself the grace I used to only afford to others. It’s surreal knowing come Friday yall will hear what I found

1st piece of the pie in the ether! I wanted to start with a track that gave me a lot of energy and excitement throughout the process of finishing my album, hoping that translates to anyone hearing it or watching the vid.
