Moms Forever View … just a few hundred feet from their Home, Beautiful above the neighborhood Horse barn and Run. Over 20 years they helped at the barn feeding and building gardens, Perfect!
Then Pops took us to his Requested View one day at the lake nearby that provides a few of my New Fav Photos as we Cherish every time ounce with him.
Chloe, my Sis Lisa and helped clear her place, then drove a U-Haul back to Texas just a couple weeks ago, Cherishing her possessions. That Part is a cleansing process as we found all kinds of goodness, heirlooms, family history and more crafting stuff then Hobby Lobby lol
Mom was a Master Quilter.
A challenging, sometimes weird and definitely family-healing process.
At Her services the amount of love, stories and appreciation everyone provided always casts light. Pops was Proud I took time to speak about Mom sharing memories and funny stories to lighten the load between teared eyes.
My approach, was also hers.

Anyone who knows my personality, Goofy Outgoing Flair, Also knew my Mom as she encouraged that in Life. THANK ALL for Reaching out and flooding comments with Beautiful condolences. I truly feel the Love & Support, very much needed !
Mom was Goofy with funny words, sayings, sounds and fun reactions. Especially where animals were near.
Homeade Cook, Gardener and Homemaker as their house looked like the pages of Southern living magazine, Antiques Galore with the aroma of Julia Childs. I’d put up Moms Chicken n Dumplings against any!
She thought I should be good friends with Guy Fieri and also be a professional Album Cover Artist. Lol missed opportunity
Mom LOVED family history nostalgia and literally had most items tagged in the house of where they were acquired, any history note and who it goes to eventually. This was important.
Mom and Dad were VPs of their Square Dance club, her sewing packed full of matching outfits all handmade. I thought so corny but they thrived. 💃🕺
She Loved Pets!!!! In Lue of flowers, donate to a pet shelter. 🐶🐱🐰
Funny Memories
Young I would grab her leopard robe and crawl around like an animal, she’d act like I was one … Just silly
She once dared me to throw my chewing gum out into an open car window from ten feet … I made it
She noticed a door to door salesman and answered the door with a lampshade on her head. He didn’t make the sale.
She ALWAYS gave me the mixer wands to lick off batter.
Once she was was robbed at gunpoint at Grocery store with attempted to get her into the car, she stood her ground and said FU just take the car. Caught him and got the car back. She kept a pistol close.
She loved my voices and impressions, would love embarrassing me asking.
Mom and Dad came home from a Hawaii trip she wearing a tee found with a beautiful flower. Lol was Acapulco Gold Weed Plant🤦🏼
We went to the opening of Grease then immediately to get the Soundtrack, went home to listen together.
My First College care package included Judy a Blow Up Doll. Judy rode in the car
She loved I still 🛹 and supported everything I’ve done. Mostly She Adored my daughter Chloe making her feel so very special … just like Mom. 💔❤️🌹

Mom Passed away peacefully Sunday
Chloe and I flew to Atlanta, met with my sister Lisa for a family visit. Friday with my parents long overdue and Mom shared news of transition to Hospice. Many years battle with cancer and related care had done well to keep her to 87. We had no idea of her decision nor how bad her condition, kept so very private. She sat us next to her, close, to gift us each something passed down special while offering family history as always.
Saturday she was so happy, we suggested a walk outside and I drove her chair playfully just as expected. Beautiful day and sun as we shared stories, childhood memories, laughed and took photos. Then Dad requested McDonalds so a Happy Meal for Mom was perfect, she loved it being so cute.
Spent quality time but leaving was so hard with the news of Hospice. All around her we cried, hugged and snotty laughed together for the night.
We said we’d stay closer touch and send daily love through this all. Dad said she was so happy before bed.
Mom slept in on Sunday after our big visit and Dad called before our flight to let is know she passed peacefully at 2:36 No longer in pain or worry quietly, just at Peace …
We now know Mom was just waiting for our visit to let go, we thought there was more time yet it was her time.
