Nic A. Sommerfeld is a San Francisco based actor and playwright. Originally from Montana, Nic moved to California to get a Theater degree from Santa Clara University. They have acted in plays and musicals with companies all around the Bay Area. These credits include the California Shakespeare Theater, Berkeley Playhouse, FaultLine Theatre, San Francisco Playhouse, Berkeley Rep, and The San Francisco Shakespeare Festival. As a playwright, Nic has had their work performed by Third Citizen Theatre Co (MA), Trans TheatreFest (WI), The SF Olympians Festival, Utopia Theatre Project, and has had plays featured in The Best of Playground ‘18, ‘19, and ’20. They also write sketch comedy for Killing My Lobster, and have worked as a trans consultant on new plays. When not writing or doing theater, they frequently perform as their drag king persona Chester Vanderbox.

On May 1st I produced my very first drag show! Not only was it my first time producing, but it was also a birthday celebration for myself and @chestervanderbox !! We finally got some photos in so I'm going to be posting a bunch of them, but I wanted to start by shouting out my appreciation for every single performer and staff member that made the night possible!

Oliver Branch is one of San Francisco’s premier vintage drag kings, sporting the music and aesthetics of times gone by. He is one of the recurring hosts of The Monster Show, the Castro’s longest running drag show, and the co-founder of The Nostalgia Society and Hats Off! When he’s not poorly tap dancing on the streets of North Beach or reciting Shakespearean monologues, Oliver is a singer-songwriter, performing under the name Veronica Margaret. His debut indie-folk album, The Ghost of Veronica Margaret, is releasing at the San Francisco International Arts Festival on May 9th.
