I am so horrendously late to posting, but ofc I had to make a Montreal dump?? This Feb I had the honour of going to Mtl with the most incredible team of people to work on a show called The Healing. We laughed, we cried, we ate noodles, we danced, we had no wifi, we ate noodles, we got lost on the metro, we ate noodles, we thumbs upped and thumbs downed, we stepped on blocks. Full team credits are in my show photo dump, but this has been hands down one of the greatest groups of people I’ve ever worked with. THE SPACE BETWEEN US // HOLOBIONT MEET THE PERFORMERS Chelly Li is a dynamic Toronto-based multidisciplinary artist. She trained in ballet and modern dance in Germany, before relocating to Canada to explore commercial and street dance styles. Now anchored in contemporary dance, Chelly continues to channel her versatile background in her work. She performs with companies such as Impetus Movement, Little Pear Garden Dance Company, EMiMOTION, hART Dance and other freelance work across North America, Asia and Europe. Her choreography credits include “Doppelgänger” (2024) for Impetus Movement, “Skin” (2024) for Little Pear Garden Dance Company, and “Some Hope” (2025) for IF Crew in collaboration with Howell Studios and DZO Films. Chelly teaches throughout the city at studios including The Underground Dance Centre, Studio North and DanceLifeX, and served as a guest teaching associate at Canada’s National Ballet School. In addition to dance, Chelly also works as a voice actor. You can hear her bringing characters to life in many children’s animated series, and for brands like Walmart, McDonald’s, Tim Hortons, Disney and Hasbro.
