Been in Canada for 6 years and finally got to go to Banff. Camera can never do justice to the beauty of this magical place! I was always so keen on seeing the world but forgot to explore this country I’m in for long.

My third time being a wedding MC! This was definitely the biggest wedding I have ever done. When I stood on the stage with almost 300 people down below looking at me for one moment I was so terrified.
This time is for my dear friend @handathehuman who I know for almost 8 years now. Going to Maryland visiting them and seeing so many old friends was such a great time! Congrats again to @linhtruong__ and Handa!!

Two weeks ago we wrapped The Unknown Soldier, a WWI film for which I was a producer and 1st AD. We pulled off a war film with 60+ crew and cast only with a fraction of the money it would usually cost. It was lots of standing in the cold till I felt I couldn’t think properly lol
Fun fact: In the first picture I wore a heavy jacket with another jacket and my skiing sweater inside, as we were standing in the cold for 12 hours in a forest.
Can’t wait to show the world the oneer we did in the trench!

Some amazing memories this January in Morocco 🇲🇦
This was such a healing journey that went beyond my expectations in many ways. I can’t thank this trip enough 🫶
I knew this time I wanted to travel on a longer term and I decided to stay one month there. This is so different from the short travels as I got to know all these new friends on a deeper level till I felt I became part of their life.

First commercial project directed by me!
This is a promotional video for SuOn academy, a Chinese boarding school in Toronto. I’m so proud of writing, directing and editing this project in only 2 weeks. We shot it in 10 hours with like 8 locations in the school. It was like a marathon, like how my DP said.
Recently I’ve been codirecting projects to learn from other directors. I feel most importantly, this time directing by myself I overcame the nervousness I usually had.

This is a long delayed post for my 2022 Europe Trip - 08/16 to 09/06 🇺🇸🇩🇪🇨🇭🇨🇿 🇫🇷🇳🇱🇵🇱 It’s all still like a dream.
This is literally the best time I had this past 3 years, with all the craziness of covid. The most precious thing, other than all the fantastic sceneries, is that I can meet all these old friends that mean so so much to me. These are friends from middle school, high school, university, old church in Shenyang, summer camp in China, even 2 internet language partners that I met for the first time in real life in this trip. And also got to meet new friends from hostels!
When I came back from Europe to Montreal, I accidentally bumped into the family that helped me so much when I was there. 3 years ago it was them who picked me up when I first came to Canada. What an closure to my journey in Montreal.
Will see you again, Europe!
