When I called Precious for this shoot, I had an idea in my head, but it wasn't fully formed but I knew I wanted to say something with these photos. Not in words, but in feeling. To let the image speak and allow people see what they connect to and have their own interpretation
It was more of an experiment, so we ended up doing a lot of the work ourselves. Precious went to the market on her own to get the veil, and Doyin's hands with the make up was the glue for this shoot, it was right for what we were trying to say.

Client wanted create warm, everyday breakfast visuals, Focus was on comfort, simplicity, and appetizing moments that naturally highlight the product as part of daily routines, from tea and bread to akara and creamy breakfast pairings. Clean product visibility, vibrant tones, and relatable food styling were key to the campaign
Kachi Egemba is a Lagos-based photographer and visual storyteller known for creating images that truly “spark emotion and stay with you.” As a multidisciplinary artist, he works across various photography styles including food, product, commercial, and documentary approaching each project with technical precision to bring a client’s vision to life through rich, high-quality visual narratives.
One of his standout projects is the collaborative spec ad titled “Guinness: It Tastes Better with Friends,” where Kachi took on the dual roles of photographer and creative director. This series beautifully captures the bold, vibrant energy of the iconic Guinness brand. Set against a sunlit coastal backdrop, the campaign emphasizes themes of strong bonds and shared happiness. Through his masterful use of warm, natural lighting and close, character-focused framing, @chef_kachi highlights the unique “grit and steeze” that define the Guinness identity, blending the brand’s deep cultural roots with a fresh, aspirational lifestyle.
What makes this project especially impressive is Kachi’s ability to deliver complex creative direction under tight deadlines. Alongside cinematographer Tife Jimoh, he managed to create “magic in record time,” completing the entire shoot within just 24 hours. By focusing on genuine interactions among his models and bringing out the tactile qualities of the product, Kachi ensures the campaign feels both authentic and emotionally powerful. For the Lagos Meet creative community, Kachi Egemba’s work represents the highest level of professional visual storytelling, proving that when creativity meets precision, the outcome is a lasting cultural landmark that effectively communicates a brand’s true essence.
