11 Cities. 38 Activations. 114k+ Consumers. That’s how you celebrate 80 years!
Nigerian Breweries just gave a masterclass in Portfolio Power. This Easter, the Big Fiesta platform didn’t just host a concert, it built a cultural system. From Phyno and Flavour in the East to Young John in Abuja, NB met Nigerians exactly where they were.
The Strategy Behind the Scenes:
Premium Ownership: Heineken took over fashion and high-end concerts.
Cultural Roots: Goldberg and Life stayed true to heritage in Benin and Aba.
Youth Energy: Desperados brought the raves to the Gen Z crowd.
Unified Narrative: One massive national story told through 38 unique moments.
In an era of fragmented audiences, Nigerian Breweries proved that having a brand for everyone is the ultimate competitive advantage. Cheers to 80 years of brewing culture!

It can only be Heineken. Bold. Unmatched. Unrivaled.
For 80 years, we’ve created iconic moments. This time, we changed the skyline.
The Heineken Hot Air Balloon rose above Lagos, unveiling the Heineken House Experience in a way the city has never seen before.
From ground to sky: culture, connection, and discovery.
Nigeria, we’re just getting started.

Safety First, Safety Always. This is not just a mantra for us at @nigerianbreweriesplc , it’s a responsibility we live by.
Road safety is not a campaign you switch on and off. It’s a commitment we carry every single day.
This week in Abuja, through the Beer Sectoral Group Nigeria (BSG), we renewed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Federal Road Safety Commission not as a routine agreement, but as a collective commitment to strengthen action against drink-driving and promote responsible alcohol consumption across Nigeria.
This partnership reflects a shared effort to do what truly matters: change behaviour, shift mindsets, and build a culture where responsible drinking is the norm, not the exception.
The MoU was jointly signed by Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed and Thibaut Boidin, Managing Director Nigerian Breweries and Chairman of the Beer Sectoral Group, in company of other CEOs - Nick Kade, and Girish Sharma, signaling strong collective responsibility and call to action.
Let’s choose responsibility.
Let’s keep our roads and our people safe.

Strengthening our long-standing relationship with the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS).
Members of our leadership team, led by our MD/CEO Thibaut Boidin, who also serves as Chairman of the Beer Sectoral Group Nigeria (BSG), alongside Maria Karaseva, Finance Director, and Uzo Odenigbo, Ph.D., Corporate Affairs Director paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), Zaccheus Adedeji, to reaffirm our commitment to a transparent and digitally enabled tax system.
The engagement acknowledged the progress the NRS is making in advancing Nigeria’s tax digitalisation agenda, while also highlighting the significant risks associated with proposed tax stamps introduction. We noted that Nigeria’s existing homegrown digital systems already provide strong excise visibility and controls across production and distribution points, making an additional layer of tax stamps unnecessary.
As one of Nigeria’s leading tax-compliant corporates, Nigerian Breweries Plc remains committed to supporting policies that strengthen fiscal transparency, investor confidence, and Nigeria’s economic competitiveness.

Every year, Nigeria imports nearly 200,000 tonnes of malted barley, sending about $150 million out of the economy.
But what if that value stayed with Nigerian farmers and rural communities?
Through the Maltina Barley Project, we are working to build a local barley value chain, connecting farmers, researchers, government, and industry. This season alone, over 1,000 farmers cultivated barley, proving the crop can thrive in Nigerian soil.
Our ambition is clear: integrate 20,000 farmers by 2030, creating new livelihoods while strengthening Nigeria’s manufacturing sector.
To unlock this potential, ecosystem collaboration is critical - supporting farmers with irrigation, mechanisation, and pre-financing so they can truly thrive.
The opportunity is here. The question is: will you join us?

We congratulate Thibaut Boidin, MD/CEO of Nigerian Breweries Plc, on his appointment as the Chairman of the Beer Sectoral Group (BSG) of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN).
Taking over from Carlos Coutino, Boidin is now tasked with providing strategic leadership for Nigeria's leading brewing companies as they navigate a complex economic and regulatory landscape.
What this means for the industry:
Policy Advocacy: Boidin will lead the dialogue with the government for balanced and growth-oriented fiscal policies.
Global Expertise: With leadership experience across nine countries and a background as Chief Transformation Officer at HEINEKEN Europe, he brings a world-class perspective to local challenges.
Competitiveness: A renewed focus on strengthening the "long-term competitiveness" of beer within the broader beverage market.
Sustainable Growth: Driving innovation to ensure the sector remains a pillar of the Nigerian manufacturing industry.
His elevation signals deep industry confidence in a "forward-looking" vision for the future of brewing.
Congratulations to Thibaut Boidin on this pivotal new role!
