CREDICORP ROLLS OUT FIRST WAVE OF BENEFICIARIES FOR LOCALLY-ASSEMBLED VEHICLES In December 2024, CREDICORP launched a groundbreaking mobility credit fund to accelerate access to locally-assembled automobiles, partnering with major industry players like Nord, Innoson, Jets, CIG, NEV, and Simba. Promise Delivered: Last Thursday, the first wave of credit-backed consumers proudly drove off Simba Group’s factory with brand-new tricycles and motorbikes! As Nigeria’s largest assembler of two- and three-wheelers, Simba (TVS) produces 1,170 vehicles daily while providing jobs for 800 Nigerians. This milestone is a key step in CREDICORP’s Project S.C.A.L.E. (Securing Consumer Access for Local Enterprises), aimed at enabling 1 million credit-backed purchases of locally-made goods across five sectors by 2026.
