We are thrilled to welcome Maymouna Baradji (@casseusedecailloux ) as part of the 2026 CHB Arts residency program. Maymouna Baradji is a mosaic artist born in 1999 in France. She lives and works in Marseille, France. Drawing from her family archives, she reactivates image and speech, questioning their origins through drawing, writing, and glass. “I only write so as not to forget. From my photographs, I copy postures and silhouettes onto paper or glass to remember these people, my people.” Her reflections on memory and forgetting notably take shape through the translation of image into drawing, from one language to another, from the oral to the written. Recently, she has reopened her writing projects (La part Manquante ?, 2022; Le chant de ma mère Nma suuge, 2023; Badjala Vol II ?, 2024) toward oral poetry, in order to continue transforming without betraying. We are thrilled to welcome Cilu Dièl (@cilu.diel ) as part of the 2026 CHB Arts residency program. Based in Brussels, cilu diél is a filmmaker and video artist. She stages narratives that intertwine broken hearts, fantastical tales, and melancholic monsters. In 2025, she co-directed Once In A Full Moon (collective @bandejamesbond ), which premiered at the Chicago International Film Festival and won Best Belgian Film at Pink Screens.

We are thrilled to welcome Yoa (@yoamusique ), S Diamah (@s_diamah ) & Geagea (@geagea_verse ) as part of the 2026 CHB Arts residency program. Yoa is a musician and performing artist whose sensitive and distinctive universe has taken shape over the course of two EPs and then the album La Favorite. S Diamah and Geagea are two composers and producers with complementary backgrounds. Geagea, also a performing artist, notably played with The Dodoz and Las Aves, developing solid experience in both live performance and production. S Diamah, for her part, explores textures and sonic architectures, informed by her practice of electronic music and modular synthesis, as well as by her work in production and sound reinterpretation. The three artists met in 2022 while composing the track “Indécise,” a foundational collaboration that immediately revealed a strong artistic affinity. This year, Yoa, S Diamah, and Geagea are coming together for a residency at the Château de la Haute Borde to write and compose new music. At the same time, she organizes the PULSE events (@pulse.only ), which she co-founded, and produces the podcast MENTAL HEALTH RADIO (@mentalhealthradio_ ), a show dedicated to artists’ mental health. CHB Arts residency is open to both emerging talents and established practitioners: artists, writers, architects, designers, filmmakers, musicians, researchers, and more, to develop personal or collaborative projects, large or small. Applicants are evaluated on their practice as well as on the quality and pertinence of a residency project in CHB. CHB has been dedicated to hosting and fostering the creativity of artists from all backgrounds and disciplines since 2020.
