RIP Ted Turner - champion of mental health, reproductive rights, universal health care, environmentalism, film preservation, philanthropy, and the money behind so many of the arts that impacted our lives. Complicated legacy, at times very complicated, but did so much ahead of his time to change the lives of millions for the better.
This is hitting me unexpectedly hard. Anyone else feeling it?
Thanks to everyone who came out to last night's very special prom night Midnight Mayhem screening of 'Carrie' at @mspfilmsociety@themaincinema last night! Very cool to see how many people dressed up, including the groups who came straight from their prom to spend part of their special night with us.
