A lobby card for AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER, playing Sunday May 17th at 11:30am as a part of our Cary Grant series
Nickie (Grant) is a ladies’ man. Terry (Deborah Kerr) is an upstanding woman. They meet on the SS Constitution, and, to both of their surprises, fall deeply in love despite each being in a relationship. When they dock in New York, they vow to set things straight with their other partners, and meet by the Empire State Building in six months. But when tragedy strikes, will Nickie and Terry be able to find each other again? AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER sees Cary Grant at his most romantic, but the film slowly gives way to some of the most emotional acting of his career, in this bona-fide tearjerker
