Watching how Chavel works reminded me that music doesn’t just need inspiration. It needs
structure.
Community isn’t only about care or collaboration here — it’s how the work grows, moves, and
lasts. This piece is about what happens when responsibility is shared instead of carried alone.

Sunday, December 28th, let’s sit down and eat together like back in the day. We don’t need a holiday to get together, we just need each other and some good vibes.
Nu Indigo Nation’s goal with Sunday Dinner, is to feed our people — body, mind, and spirit, through communal gatherings. By addressing food insecurity with care and culture, we create spaces that nourish and unite. Our mission is to mobilize the community toward healing, self-sufficiency, and collective empowerment.
We still have a few seats left for this dinner and we’d love to see you there.

Sundays are for remembering who we are together.
Sunday Dinner is about more than food.
It’s about connection, conversation, and care.
A shared table. A full spirit. A community choosing to gather, heal, and build, one meal at a time.

Grateful for everyone who came to the table for our 1st SUNDAY DINNER! 🖤 We were able to feed, laugh with, and dive into discussion with our community. It was such a beautiful kickoff to our monthly series “Sunday Dinner”.
We are so thankful to show up in community and we affirm that as we evolve, you all will evolve with us.
Thank you to everyone that made yesterday possible; from our lovely chefs to our volunteers, the setup crew, the @pamphilly family for hosting us, and each person that donated. 🎉
Special shoutout to @asiplantthisseed , @northphillypeacepark , and @nourishphilly for sponsoring groceries so that each person that attended could also leave the occasion with a bag or two of groceries!

About a month ago, I announced that the non-profit I started with my tribe was officially approved. As a way to celebrate that victory, we’re bringing our first official experience to the people, Sunday Dinner!
This will be an ongoing experience for us to commune, fellowship, learn, and connect! It is with great honor that I am sharing this with you all.
We are currently seeking volunteers, sponsors, and donors to help us keep this afloat thru March 2026. I know the power of community to strong! Nu Indigo Nation was formed as a pillar for us to be strong together.
If you’re interested in being part in any way, comment below letting us know and we’ll send more information
With love 🫶🏾
