APERITIVO CROMO Last Tuesday, during Milan Design Week, we gathered at Onda Listening Bar for an immersive evening. Curated by House of Thoughts in collaboration with Pepe Valenti and Alix Chartier, the night unfolded as an immersive culinary design experience, where guests were invited to taste four distinct bites rooted in seasonal Italian products, inspired by Pepe’s process. Thank you to everyone who joined us and shared this moment, your presence truly brought it to life ✶ We’re very excited to continue this collaboration across future projects, and to keep building what’s next.

Entre tissage et pulpe de papier. Presque vingt ans après avoir mis les pieds pour la toute première fois dans l’atelier de Marie-José Gustave à Montréal, j’ai eu le privilège de retrouver, deux décennies plus tard, ces instants suspendus où le silence fait place à des mains dansantes. En résidence en Bretagne, j’ai eu la chance de capturer le geste, la précision et la poésie du savoir-faire, en vue d’une exposition en juillet à la Maison Saint-Yves. Aux côtés de son partenaire Gérald, la production prend forme avec une rigueur délicate, un dialogue sensible entre pulpe de papier et tissage. ____ Between weaving and paper pulp. Nearly twenty years after first stepping into Marie-José Gustave’s studio in Montreal, I had the privilege of returning, two decades later, to those suspended moments where silence gives way to dancing hands. While in residency in Brittany, I had the opportunity to capture the gesture, precision, and poetry of her craftsmanship, in preparation for an exhibition this July at the Maison Saint-Yves. Alongside her partner Gérald, production takes shape with a delicate rigor, a dialogue between paper pulp and weaving.

The first edition of our workshop series was dedicated to the work and evolving practice of Paul Boucher. Conceived and curated by House of Thoughts, the evening offered an immersion into his creative universe through a scenography composed of cut-offs and remnants from his own production, revealing fragments of his ongoing material research and process.
