@thesnuts Shot mid October 2025 in Fife.
One of those shoots that starts with all the doubts.
On the recce it was miserable — pissing rain, long treks from the kit car, and me worrying we’d completely fucked it with the weather. I was self-shooting, travelling up with
@tomkitto operating his ronin for those running shots🏃♂️, both of us hoping for a miracle.
And somehow… A beautiful, unexpected sunny day. In true theme of the song.
Jack and Callum brought me this idea built around fear, bees, scarecrows, and the need to run — run through something, not away from it. The whole track felt like catharsis. Working through a shitty chapter and coming out the other side.
So we built these haunting figures, then let kids dismantle them. Turning fear into flags. Into something hopeful. A symbol of learning, perseverance, and carrying what you’ve been through forward.
We ended up shooting in the dark after a longer than expected drive to
@kinbeesuk farm in Dunfermline for the bees and nightmare beekeeper.
The kids were all cast locally in my village and their first time in front of the camera.
